The Samsung Galaxy S5

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is a top-end smartphone that runs on a version of Android KitKat augmented with Samsung's 'TouchWiz' UI. It is Samsung's flagship device for 2014 and replaces the Samsung Galaxy S4. It has an improved camera, it is water and dust resistant and it is more powerful than its predecessor.

It is also designed to work with Samsung's Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit smartwatches. The S5 comes preloaded with Google Maps, Gmail, Chrome, Google+ and YouTube. Other apps, such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Spotify are available to download from the Google Play Store, along with the latest music, films, TV shows and games.


The S5 is a premium device in every sense. It is powerful, desirable and comes loaded with features. It is an excellent all-rounder and sits admirably at the top of the Samsung Galaxy range.
