Why this smartphone is built for you

The LG G Flex

The LG G Flex is a top-end smart phone that runs on Android KitKat. It is the world's first flexible screen mobile phone. It is a powerful and desirable device that has the 'wow' factor in abundance.

This phone has a 6 inch HD curved touchscreen that displays in 245PPI (Pixels Per Inch). The average PPI for a modern smartphone is 255.

The G Flex has a 13MP camera, can record video in up to 1080p and has a 2.1MP front facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

Performance is provided by a 2.2GHz quad core processor and 2GB RAM. Based upon its processor speed and memory, this phone receives an unmudlr performance rating of 85 out of 100.

Battery Life

The G Flex has an estimated battery life of around 15 hours. The average smartphone battery life is around 10 hours. It has a battery capacity of 3500mAh (MilliAmp hours). The average battery capacity is 1950mAh.

1GB (Gigabyte) is equal to roughly 500 pictures or 250 songs. The LG G Flex comes with 32GB internal storage. It also comes with Google Drive installed which gives you an additional 15GB of free cloud storage. This phone does not have an expandable memory card slot.

The G Flex comes 4G ready so can take advantage of high speed mobile Internet in locations where it is available. It has Bluetooth which enables it to communicate with other Bluetooth devices (such as a Bluetooth handsfree kit). It has Wi-Fi which means that it can connect to your home network or public Wi-Fi hotspots such as those available in many coffee shops, cafes or hotels. The G Flex is able to connect to HDMI enabled TV's or projectors (this requires a separate microUSB to HDMI adapter). It has NFC compatibility which enables you to make contactless payments and share files with your friends. It is able to connect to DLNA and Miracast enabled devices (such as a laptop or smart TV) meaning that you can stream content both to and from your phone wirelessly. The G Flex also has an infrared blaster which gives it the ability to control most TV's or home cinema systems.

The LG G Flex comes with an FM radio and an MP3 player. It has a 'self-healing' coating on the back which can 'recover' from minor bumps and scratches. It also has a flexible curved screen. LG tells us that the advantages of the curved screen are enhanced panoramic viewing angles and improved sound quality on calls as the phone better follows the contours of the face. This phone is able to integrate with social media via designated Facebook and Twitter Apps and comes preloaded with Google Maps, Gmail, Chrome, Google+ and YouTube. Other apps, such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Spotify are available to download from the Google Play Store, along with the latest music, films, TV shows and games.

The LG G Flex is different, desirable and has excellent performance specifications. The self-healing back and flexible chassis are good additions to the smartphone market and help to increase the appeal of this device.
