The HTC One Max

The HTC One Max is a top-end smart phone running a version of Android KitKat that has been augmented with HTC's 'Sense' UI. It is the bigger brother of the HTC One and is designed with watching films, playing games and reading eBooks in mind. It also adds a removable storage card into what was already an impressive feature list.

Display

This phone has a 5.9 inch HD touchscreen that displays in 373PPI (Pixels Per Inch). The average PPI for a modern smartphone is 255.

Camera

The HTC One Max has a 4UP (UltraPixel) camera. UltraPixel cameras are designed to work better in low light than Megapixel cameras. To the naked eye, a 4 UltraPixel camera will produce images of roughly a similar quality to a 13 MP camera. The Max can also record video in up to 1080p and has a 2.1MP front facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls.

This phone comes in a dual SIM version (called the HTC One Max Dual that enables you to pop in two SIM cards at once and choose the one you want to use. This comes in handy if you are planning to use your phone abroad extensively or want to keep your business and personal calls separate.

Features

The HTC One Max has an FM radio and an MP3 player with BoomSound provided by Beat Audio. It is able to integrate with social media via designated Facebook and Twitter Apps and comes preloaded with Google Maps, Gmail, Chrome, Google+ and YouTube. Other apps, such as Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Spotify are available to download from the Google Play Store, along with the latest music, films, TV shows and games.
